I'm from a dimension where Earth has colonized over eight hundred planets by 2530. While most of them are located in the “sweet spots” of solar systems, bodies like Luna, Mars, and Europa were terraformed and colonized before FTL travel, by Tobias Shaw and Wallace Fujikawa in in 2291. While many are to extract resources -The Outer Colonies-, some have many more cities and industries -The Inner Colonies-.
This has made the political situation tense for humanity.
[Biggest understatement of the goddamn century.]
Notable tech where I'm from are terraformation means, artificial gravity by momentum, Space Elevators, Artificial Intelligences, and FTL travel; Biofoam, MediGel, and sterilization fields in Medicine; Spaceships, Magnetic Acceleration Cannons and armored exoskeletons in warfare.
If we're talking about species beside humans... they have way more tech dedicated to war.
[While Daisy is talking as if she had been ordered to give a report, the last sentence hints at something of a sore spot.]
